Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! When I grabbed my pair in spring, I paid around $385, but their regular price is around $514.

How is the fit?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36.
Since they keep their shape and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.
How comfy are they?
They only needed minimal break-in time..
How durable are they?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. No glitter has fallen off, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. They have a hidden arch lift that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is one of a kind. And the sparkle on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Are they worth it?
Totally! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They’re expensive, so getting them with a promo is smarter. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I chose a loud pair, but a low-key version would also look great.
